Welcome to AITalk.ch. We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring the security of your personal information.

We are M-BIZ Global AG, located at Ruessenstrasse 12, 6340 Baar, Switzerland ("M-BIZ" or "we"), and we welcome you to our privacy policy. This policy outlines how we handle your personal information if you're a user of the services or products provided by M-BIZ, or if you're a visitor to our Sites. It applies to aitalk.ch and its associated applications (the "Sites").

When we say 'we', 'us', or 'M-BIZ', it's because that's who we are, and we own and operate the Sites.

If we say 'policy', we're talking about this privacy policy. If we say 'user terms', we're referring to the rules for using each of the Sites. Each product has separate user terms, available separately and requiring separate consent.

1. The type of personal information we collect

We collect certain personal information about visitors and users of our Sites.

When AI Talk services are provided through Shopify Apps, WooCommerce Plugins, or other partners, we may receive personal information such as IP addresses, user emails, and cookies from these service providers.

Common types of information collected include: usernames, member names, email addresses, IP addresses, other contact details, survey responses, blogs, photos, payment information, transactional details, tax information, support queries, forum comments, content provided by you for our Sites, web analytics data, and job application data (such as CVs, application forms, cover letters, and interview notes).

2. How we collect personal information

We collect personal information directly when you provide it to us.

Personal information is collected when you register on the Sites, buy or provide items or services, subscribe to newsletters, submit feedback, enter contests, fill out surveys, or communicate with us.

3. Integration with Google Drive

Our Sites offer a feature that allows you to connect your Google Drive account to create a knowledge base for your AI chatbot. This integration is facilitated through Google's API services. By authorizing this connection, you grant us permission to access your Google Drive data as described below.

Data Accessed

We request access to your Google Drive files.\nSpecifically, we may access:\n

File metadata and content (.../auth/drive.file) only for the specific files you explicitly choose through our file picker.\nWe only access files that you explicitly select - we cannot see or access any other files in your Google Drive.

Data Usage

The content of the selected files is used solely for processing into a knowledge base for your AI assistant.\nThis data is transferred securely from your Google Drive, through our application, directly to your own OpenAI account using your personal OpenAI API key.\nThe data is never used for advertising or any other unrelated purpose.

Data Sharing

We do not share Google user data with any third parties, except:\n

As required by law or valid legal request.\n

With service providers strictly necessary to operate our service (e.g., cloud infrastructure providers).\nNo Google user data is sold or used for cross-service tracking.

Data Storage & Protection

The content of your Google Drive files is never stored on AITalk.ch servers.\nOnly minimal identifiers (e.g., file IDs, timestamps, or settings) may be retained to help you manage your data connections.\nAll transfers are encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS.

Data Retention & Deletion

Because we operate a no-content-storage model, your Google Drive file contents are not retained.
Metadata (e.g., file IDs) is retained only as long as your connection remains active.
You can disconnect Google Drive at any time via your account settings, which will permanently remove any stored identifiers.

Compliance with Google Policies

AITalk.ch's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

4. Why we collect personal information

We collect personal information:
• To fulfill contracts or process transactions on the Sites;
• For legitimate interests, including site operation, identity verification, support, security, technical analysis, managing relationships, training staff, improving services, and handling job applications;
• With your consent for marketing and personalized advertising;
• For compliance with legal obligations or to respond to legal or governmental requests.

5. How we store and protect personal information

Personal information may be disclosed to:
• Affiliates of M-BIZ located in Switzerland;
• Subcontractors and service providers assisting us, primarily located in Switzerland and Ireland;
• Regulators, government authorities, and potential buyers in connection with business transactions;
• Authorities conducting investigations or for legal compliance;
• Third parties to protect our rights or address risks.

All data is stored securely with industry-standard security measures (encryption, access controls, monitoring). EU user databases are stored on secured Amazon servers in Ireland.

6. Access to your personal information

You can access or update some information via your account settings, or request full access/correction/deletion by contacting our privacy officer at privacy@aitalk.ch.

7. Cookies and tracking technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies for site functionality and analytics. You can manage cookies through your browser settings.

8. Third-party services

Our service integrates with third-party services such as OpenAI. These services have their own privacy policies governing the collection and use of information.

Your personal data is stored securely with industry-standard security measures (encryption, access controls, monitoring). EU user databases are stored on secured Amazon servers in Ireland.

9. International data transfers

Your personal data may be transferred outside your home country, including to Switzerland and Ireland. All transfers comply with applicable data protection laws.

10. Data retention

We retain personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy or as required by law. You may request erasure and account closure anytime, subject to legal and business obligations.

11. Children's privacy

Our Sites are not intended for children under 16. Users aged 16-18 require parental supervision for registration.

12. Changes to this privacy policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Significant changes will be notified on our Sites and take effect seven (7) days after notification.

14. Account Deletion and Re-registration Policy

Once you request account deletion (anonymization), your email will be permanently blocked from re-registration. This policy prevents abuse of our free tier and protects the integrity of our service. A minimal anonymized record (hashed email) is retained solely for this verification purpose, in compliance with GDPR Article 17(3)(e) (establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims). If you accidentally requested deletion and wish to regain access, please contact privacy@aitalk.ch for exceptional review.
