# AI Talk (AiTalk.ch)

> AI Talk is an AI agent platform for businesses that want AI to do real work — under their control. Agents answer phone calls, book appointments, chat with customers and, with Work Apps, handle back-office processes such as the Swiss VAT return. Every agent runs inside a workflow the business approves, so the AI only uses the tools and rules it is given. Run it in AI Talk Cloud (operated from Switzerland on Microsoft Azure) or install AI Talk Self-hosted on your own servers. Developed and operated by M-BIZ Global AG, Baar, Switzerland.

## Key concepts

- Workflow = harness: built in Agent Studio (visual builder). It decides which tools the AI may use, which channel it answers (phone, chat or app) and what goes live. Nothing goes live until the business approves it.
- Work App: one business process turned into an app the team uses like a chat. The AI handles messy input (different bank file layouts, scanned receipts), fixed tested code calculates exact numbers, and a person confirms before a period is locked; every step is logged. The AI cannot browse the web, send email or run its own code inside a Work App. First Work App: Swiss VAT return (pilot).
- Coding agents over MCP: OpenAI Codex, Claude Code or Google Antigravity can create and update workflows, apply templates and manage the knowledge base through AI Talk's MCP server. On Self-hosted, developers can also write their own Work Apps.
- Voice: answers calls on your existing business number (forward busy, after-hours or unanswered calls), replies from your knowledge base and books appointments in your calendar, 24/7.

## AI models

- Cloud: Microsoft Azure OpenAI Service is included (no API keys needed). Customer prompts and completions are not used to train OpenAI or Microsoft models.
- Self-hosted: connect Azure OpenAI, any OpenAI-compatible service (vLLM, Ollama, OpenAI; Swiss-hosted model APIs such as Phoeniqs or Infomaniak) or Anthropic. Tested with Work Apps: Azure OpenAI (GPT) and Anthropic (Claude); other models connect the same way, and how well they run a Work App depends on the model.

## Documents and knowledge (RAG)

- Cloud: website crawl, files, Google Drive, SharePoint and GitBook, indexed in Azure AI Search (Switzerland).
- Self-hosted: files and text in the first release, stored in your own PostgreSQL (pgvector); or connect your own search / RAG server over one HTTP interface or MCP.

- Starter (mobile app only): CHF 22 per month in Switzerland, EUR 20–25 elsewhere (incl. VAT, via Google Play).
- Standard: EUR / CHF 100 per month. Pro: EUR / CHF 200 per month (web, excl. VAT).

## Data protection

- Customer data is never used to train AI models.
- AI Talk Cloud operates under the revised Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (revFADP).
- With Self-hosted, data stays on the customer's own server.
